Vangura ProSolid® countertops are individually crafted exclusively for your home.
Even homeowners who have limited carpentry experience and basic plumbing skills
will be able to install their new Vangura ProSolid® countertop.
It's just like the saying, "Out with the old and in with the new."
To prepare for your new countertop, you must first remove the old countertop.
Your old sink may be heavy and the countertop piece may be bulky. You may need
to ask a friend to help with the removal process.
First, turn off the water at the shutoff valves. Begin removing any brackets,
screws, and bolts holding the countertop to the cabinets. Disconnect plumbing
fixtures and appliances.
You may need to cut caulk beads with a utility knife
or remove trim.
Installing your new Vangura ProSolid® countertop.
Proper installation of your new ProSolid® countertop requires your
cabinets to be plumb and level. Improper cabinet alignment can cause undue stress
on the countertop resulting in cracking which could void warranty.
Your new Vangura® countertop has been constructed to fit your specified dimensions.
Set the countertop in place on top of the plumb and level base cabinets. Check
to be certain that drawers and doors open freely. Scribing may be necessary for
a perfect fit.
Secure countertop to the cabinets with silicone. Install loose
backsplash(s) with silicone or acrylic caulk where applicable.
You may want to run a bead of caulk between the backsplash and the wall.
Reconnect plumbing as necessary.
Now you're ready to show off your new Vangura ProSolid® countertop.
