Vangura® laminate countertops are individually crafted exclusively for your home. Even homeowners
who have limited carpentry experience and basic plumbing skills will be able to install their new Vangura®
laminate countertop.
It's just like the saying, "Out with the old and in with the new."
To prepare for your new countertop, you must first remove the old countertop. Your old sink may be heavy
and the countertop piece may be bulky. You may need to ask a friend to help with the removal process.
First, turn off the water at the shutoff valves. Begin removing any brackets, screws, and bolts holding the
countertop to the cabinets. Disconnect plumbing fixtures and appliances.
You may need to cut caulk beads with a utility knife or remove trim.
Installing your new Vangura® countertop.
Your new Vangura® countertop has been constructed to fit your specified dimensions. Set the countertop
in place on top of the base cabinets. Check to be certain that drawers and doors open freely. Scribing
may be necessary for a perfect fit.
Use wood screws driven up through the cabinet's corner brackets to attach the countertop to the cabinets.
Make sure the screws are not too long.
You may want to run a bead of caulk between the backsplash and the wall.
Reconnect plumbing as necessary.
Now you're ready to show off your new Vangura® laminate countertop.
